How to build a bond with the project.

Five ideas to keep Call for Solutions alive all year round: each initiative speaks to a specific audience and invites it onto the bridge between needs, technology and resources.

Initiatives for the community

Stories & podcasts

Initiative 01

“The voice of needs”

A series of short videos and podcasts in which people with disabilities describe, in their own words, the need behind each idea. Real stories create empathy, give dignity to those who propose and encourage new people to come forward.

Audience The general public, local media and associations — people who come to the project through emotion and then become proposers or supporters.

Business & CSR

Initiative 02

“Adopt an idea”

A programme that lets companies and foundations publicly “adopt” a proposal, by funding or developing it, with visible recognition on the project. It turns corporate social responsibility into a concrete gesture with a story to tell.

Audience Companies, foundations and CSR managers looking for a measurable social impact rooted in the local area.

Research & universities

Initiative 03

Hackathon & university call

An open challenge for students and researchers — with Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and the University of Pisa — to prototype the needs published on the site. The best teams are put in touch with the people who proposed the idea and with potential funders.

Audience Researchers, PhD students, students and engineers: the “technology” side that gets proposals off the ground.

Community

Initiative 04

Ambassadors & voting campaign

Those who proposed an idea or benefited from one become “ambassadors” and share it with their own network. A regular campaign invites the community to vote with stars: the ideas people care about most rise to the top and catch the attention of those who can make them happen.

Audience People with disabilities, caregivers and associations: the heart of the community that feeds the proposals and helps them grow.

Events & newsletter

Initiative 05

Open Day at the Festival & the “Il filo” newsletter

A yearly event at the Festival della Robotica where proposers, developers and supporters meet in person, together with a monthly newsletter — “Il filo” (The Thread) — reporting on progress and new connections. That way the bond stays alive all year round.

Audience All stakeholders, the local community and donors: those who want to see the results and feel part of a community.
