How we process your personal data, for what purposes, and which rights you can exercise under the GDPR.
This notice describes how Fondazione Tech Care processes the personal data of users of the Call for Solutions website, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.
01 Data controller
The data controller is Fondazione Tech Care. For any request concerning personal data you can write to callforsolutions@roboticafestival.it.
02 Types of data processed
- Data provided voluntarily: name, email address and content sent through the forms on the site (description of a need or a proposal, any message, any attached audio or video content).
- Browsing data: technical data collected automatically (e.g. IP address, browser type), processed for security and operational purposes.
- Cookies: as described in the Cookie Policy.
02 Purposes and legal bases
- Handling proposals and contacts (replying to requests, publishing proposals as cards): the legal basis is the consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time.
- Security and operation of the site: the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Usage statistics (analytics cookies): the legal basis is consent.
03 Publication of proposals
Proposals submitted may be made public as cards and shared with potential developers and supporters. We never make public who financially supports an idea. The proposer's contact details are not published without explicit consent.
04 Methods and retention
Data are processed by electronic means, with appropriate security measures in place. Data are kept for the time needed for the stated purposes and in any case no longer than the periods laid down by law, unless the data subject withdraws consent.
05 Recipients and transfers
Data may be processed by providers of technical services (e.g. hosting) appointed as data processors. Any transfers to third countries take place only where adequate safeguards under the GDPR are in place.
06 Rights of the data subject
Data subjects may at any time exercise the rights set out in Articles 15–22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent. To exercise them, write to callforsolutions@roboticafestival.it.
07 Complaints
Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), if they believe the processing infringes the GDPR.
