Dressing and undressing on my own

Innovative solutions for everyday independence

Dressing and undressing on my own
Proposed by · Fabio Lucentini Cost · to be defined Scope · National

The need

For people with motor impairments, getting dressed and undressed can mean relying on others for everyday tasks, particularly when putting on or taking off trousers and underwear.

How it could be solved

A light, adjustable tool with two secure grippers joined by a bar: they hook onto the garment, hold it steady and help pull it down or back up, with simple controls.

The expected result

Independence, dignity and inclusion: everyone has the right to do things for themselves.
